Jewish Family and Children Services has developed an innovative Hoarding Program model that demonstrates positive outcomes to reduce the negative impacts of hoarding behaviors and create stability for older adults to safely age in place. The overarching goals of the program are to implement behavioral and sustainable interventions to older adults in the Greater Philadelphia area by helping them age in place safely by reducing environmental safety concerns, preventing evictions, and increasing physical and mental health; and reduce recidivism in individuals by increasing preventative measures and after-care.
