Landlord Incentives & Benefits
Landlord and property managers who agree to house a Your Way Home program participant are also eligible to receive:
- Payment for any damages that exceed the security deposit
- A maximum one month rent payment for an apartment “hold” if it is expected that the process to move in will cause the unit to remain vacant (i.e. during inspection process)
- Unpaid rent reimbursement if a program participant abandons a unit
- Payment of legal fees incurred associated with eviction, or other court costs, related to lease violations
