This session features a presentation by staff at The Salvation Army’s A New Day to Stop Trafficking program. Service providers who work with the most vulnerable members of our communities may be supporting survivors of trafficking without even knowing it. In this training, participants will learn to define human trafficking, understand the laws protecting victims, and identify red flags and vulnerable populations. Building on their foundational understanding of trauma-informed care, participants will develop skills for engagement with survivors and learn how to connect them to relevant resources.
