This training will review the compliance responsibilities of nonprofit and supportive housing providers and shelters under the Fair Housing Act and other applicable civil rights laws, as well as HUD program rules. Common fair housing issues experienced by program participants along with best practices for avoiding discrimination or the perception of discrimination will be  discussed along with strategies for increasing access for each of the protected classes.
