Your Way Home awarded $4,235,124 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Continuum of Care grant program

To help individuals and families experiencing homelessness move into permanent housing, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has announced $3.16 billion in Continuum of Care (CoC) Competition Awards for thousands of local homeless service and housing programs across the United States.

The Montgomery County PA-504 Continuum of Care (CoC) was awarded $4,235,125 from HUD through this federal grant competition. This is an increase of $240,935 over last year's CoC grant award. Of particular note, Family Services of Montgomery County’s Restart Rapid-Rehousing (RRH) new bonus project was selected for an award. Restart will focus on providing stable and secure housing for justice-involved individuals. The primary source of referrals for the program will come from the Montgomery County Correctional Facility (MCCF), the Adult Probation Office, and the Office of the Public Defender.  To read more about the grant awards, read the newsletter announcement HERE
