By volunteering with Your Way Home, you can be a part of the change you want to see in your community.
Your Way Home offers several volunteer opportunities throughout the year:
- Your Way Home's Annual Point-In-Time Count is valuable volunteer opportunity for anyone who would like a better understanding of the homeless experience in our community.
As a street count volunteer, you will be asked to assist an outreach team and canvass pre-determined locations for homeless individuals and families. This event takes place every January.
- The Annual Your Way Home Summit is a celebration of Your Way Home, Montgomery County's system and public-private partnership to end homelessness. This event brings together over 150 experts, providers, partners, and policymakers to learn and collaborate across sectors and communities to reduce homelessness in Montgomery County.
As a summit volunteer you would assist with event set-up and registration. This event takes place every June.
- Your Way Home's EPIC (Eviction Prevention and Intervention Coalition) Program is always looking for attorney volunteers to provide pro bono legal services. To learn more about this program, please contact Nancy Walsh with the Bar Association by email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 610-994-3663.
