2016 Annual Homeless Assessment Report: This report provides information on demographic and bed utilization rates for people served in Montgomery County’s emergency shelters, transitional housing programs, and permanent supportive housing programs (note that rapid re-housing program data is not included in this report). This report is submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to assist in generating national counts of people served by homeless service organizations. 
 
2016 Point in Time Count (Winter): The Point in Time (PIT) Count is a single-night count of all people who are homeless who are sleeping outdoors (aka “unsheltered”) or sleeping in emergency shelters and transitional housing-funded apartments (aka “sheltered”). The 2016 PIT Count was conducted on January 28, 2016. This report is submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. 
 
2016 Point In Time Count (Summer): Second Summer Point-In-Time Count in Montgomery County. The 2016 Summer PIT Count was conducted on August 17, 2016.

2016 Housing Inventory Chart: The Housing Inventory Chart (HIC) is an inventory of all organizations and beds that are targeted to serving people who are homeless in the county. The HIC is sorted into categories for emergency shelter programs, transitional housing programs, permanent supportive housing programs, and rapid re-housing programs. Each inventory listing provides information on the target population served and the number of beds available. The HIC also includes the utilization rate of the program on the night of the 2016 Point in Time Count.
