"I am privileged to be part of the journey. I have a heart for those that have nothing especially the people that have lost their support system and their world has come crashing down."  Stephanie Flamer, Housing Stability Coach at the North Penn Area Housing Resource Center began working for Keystone Opportunity Center in November 2013. Stephanie assists individuals and families experiencing homelessness obtain permanent housing as quickly as possible. She has Bachelors in Social Work from Eastern University and a Masters from Weidner. Stephanie comes to us with many years of experience in the human service field related to juveniles, female prisoners, military personnel and low-income individuals. Stephanie enjoys that in her position she is able to collaborate with other agencies in the Your Way Home system like CTI, CHOC staff, Recovery Coaches, Permanent Supportive Housing staff etc. "Having support from other agencies and knowing that they will be right there is a positive for the client. We used be in silos but not anymore.” Stephanie also enjoys assisting those individuals that are lacking resources such as single adults as they do not qualify for cash assistance. "Luckily we have kind and generous community members that donate items to Keystone Opportunity Center such as shampoo that I can provide to a client that is unable to purchase their own due to no income.”
